Purpose: We detect your public IP address and an approximate geolocation (city/region/country) to provide localized features (for example, displaying the visitor’s country flag), troubleshoot abuse, and improve site analytics.
Data Collected: Approximate location (country, country code, region, city), timestamp of visit, and metadata (geolocation provider). We do not collect precise location (GPS).
How We Use It:
- Display a lightweight, anonymous indicator on the site (country flag).
- Store logs for analytics, security, and abuse investigation.
- Aggregate and analyze traffic trends.
- Storage & Retention: Visitor records are stored in the site database and purged automatically after 90 days by default.
